The River Church, Newcastle

The River Church seeks to be a Gospel Community for Newcastle and the North East. Rooted in the Word and Flowing with the Spirit.

The River Church Newcastle strives to build a thriving community of all ages that represents people from across Newcastle and the North East, reaching them with the gospel. We have seen God faithfully grow the church since it began in 2020 with a small team, as people find a true sense of belonging and are surrounded by people who want the best for them, whoever they are and wherever they come from.

We have just moved to a new venue in Sandyford where are hoping we can stay long term.

The River Church Newcastle launched in 2020 as a small church plant meeting in a home after God spoke and asked us to serve the people of the North East.

God has faithfully grown the church and it is now a small thriving gospel community meeting in Newcastle. He has put a burden on our hearts to see the North East fall in love with Jesus by teaching the bible and meeting with the Spirit.

This city is full of passionate people, who care deeply for one another and are great craic. We believe God is full of Grace and love, that He brings change to lives as we get to know Him. We are contending for a city full of so much more hope, joy and freedom as people are introduced to Jesus and he transforms their lives.
